Cat names

So, i just bought a cat from a cat vendor in Elwynn and i was thinking how cool it would be if cats could be named like pets. I know this is a very small change but it would be super cute

It's more realistic like it is now. The cat don't go with a name-tag above their head; they use a dedicated human to introduce them to general public orally

If u play hunter u can change pet name.
But to rename every cats name around azeroth... I don't think so ,to be honest.
Or u talking about when u bought a neutral cat ,having option to gave them name whatever u want?

It's not technically possible to give different name to companions without creating a totally new companion.

Well, that's sad. Is it possible that you can create another companion (which can be purchased from the Cat Lady in Elwynn for example) that can be renamed? ^^ thanks for the reply
