Bloodstone Dagger Proc Q

Can someone confirm if ornate bloodstone dagger can proc from each individual tick of a drain life/hellfire spell, or is it only off the initial cast? Thank you!

Mindflay, drain soul, drain life and other channel spells as well as all dots only have a chance to proc on initial cast.

The only exceptions to this are arcane missiles & starshards who are coded differently. Arcane missiles i am sure & have seen a video from turtle where it can proc it on every instance & starshards im reasonably confident can proc it on every instance
