Eranikus fight for SL currently impossible to complete

Post by Neltharion » Sun Jun 02, 2024 8:10 pm

The 1st phase of the Eranikus fight on Tel'abim is currently not doable for a couple of reasons:

1. Griefing: on this server, somehow, this fight can be easily griefed by positioning low level druids on top of the enemy raid: when those druids die around 5 shades will spawn. This as serious as any other bannable methods of griefing: it has nothing to do with PvP and you can't counter something like that;

2. The shades themselves are overtuned as hell, it's been confirmed by devs that they AOE too often and spawn too quickly.

3. Tel'abim is a 200 pop server, it's quite impossible to form 2 whole raids to finish this quest. The Eranikus fight in Moonglade was never intended to be this hard.

A simple solution I suggest is to fix the shades' cd of their AOE, fix their respawn and generally scale this content to 20/25 players as it should be on such a low populated server.

Respect the time of the people who actually love this server.

That's pretty much it.

Same happened with some world bosses... you know the one that spawns mushrooms when dying?
Some hordes loved griefing that, nobody cared there aswell. It was considered a "pvp tactic".
So same happens now with this *shrugs*

How is having 5 low level druids die on your raid for the Scarab lord questline (which has limited time) PvP exactly? This can be considered griefing as much as throwing internals at HCs or safespotting.
You can't do anything about it.

Those encounters was designed with that kind of griefing in mind. People on PvE server somehow managed to go through it. Why can't you?
Xudo - tauren warrior 19 Sergeant armory.
I don't raid and rank, so you can not bother asking.
Nerf high level enchants on low level gear
Add lvl requirement to bandages
Best and optimal gear for 10-19 twinks
Have fun not only at 60.

Also, what kind of argument is that?
Then throwing internals at HCs and safespotting shouldn't be bannable
Same for GDKPs or any other thing that the game allows you to do

I agree...its part of a PVP server. PVP'ers on Nord say that if you are red, no matter what, its your fault and you need to deal with it. This includes warmode, accidentally buffing flagged players, etc, etc. According to them its all the players fault for engaging in any sort of pvp related activity. Now that pvp'ers have a pvp server, they're complaining about pvp related activities. Mob and boss griefing is part of PVP. They're not exploiting or hacking.
