High Elf Civil War?

So went through the new High elf questing zone, fantastic job btw turtle I was really happy with the experience, and could not help but notice the story turning to who will lead the remnants of the High elf people. During all this Kael'thas is shown as still caring for his people wanting an update on how they are surviving. It feels ripe towards a civil war not just between high elf / blood elf but also a faction within the high elfs.
In my opinion blizzard did Kael'thas so wrong just totally turning his character 180 from what he was like in Warcraft 3 Frozen Throne Campaign loving and sacrificing so much for his people to what we got in BC of muwahaha im evil now.
I hope turtle team does a better job then blizz when it comes to the story of the High elves and Kael'thas. Really like the civil war scenario playing out with small skirmishes between High Elfs, High Elf splinter faction and Blood Elves like we see in the new starting zone. Hoping it turn into a huge open war as both armies approach to fight near the outskirts of Eversong forest or Ghostlands locations which could lead to the end of the High elves/Blood Elves race on Azeroth however its averted with a portal opening with Kael'thas returning from outland with a willing or unwilling Naru to re-energize the Sunwell uniting the shattered people.
This could lead to patch of rebuilding Silvermoon and BC era eversong with still masses of scourge in the area leading to both High elves and Blood elves working together to rebuild. Could also lead to introducing Zul'Aman raid or new raids / dungeon etc...
