The cold wind carries with it, a most terrifying message of great danger ahead, waiting patiently in your near future. Omens of misfortune follow you, while your shadow dissipates with each passing day. In what wretchedness one must wallow, with no end at sight. Yet yours is not a tale of sorrow, at least - not yet. For before the next winter passes, you'll find yourself at a crossroads. Stray right on your path, glory and everlasting fame awaits... stray but a bit left, and you'll join the thousands more, who remain but mere shadows of Deadwind Pass.
A three-part mini RP adventure awaits for everyone who dares embark upon a dangerous and mysterious journey into the heart of Deadwind Pass and confront the shadow, that lingers within. Alliance only (due to Alliance friendly locations, outside of Deadwind Pass). High level characters are welcome but not required (so anyone who can gear up with some IC armor/clothing, is able to join). Evil minded characters are not eligible to join the RP adventure (no evil, world-dominating warlocks, necromancers, Death Knights, etc. - you've been warned). Very important - please dress appropriately for your role (get some In-Character armor/clothing and weapons - if your character uses those).
Offering a single copper coin to the old man in a tavern is required to join the event. Shall anything happen in the course of the event, that isn't to your liking, you can return back to that moment, when the coin was given, and all that has occurred will be nullified.
An old man, seated alone in the darkness of a tavern asks for a single copper coin, which marks the beginning of your story. A single copper coin. A single coin is all it takes, to begin your journey and unravel your fate. If you believe in destiny or not - what harm can a single copper coin bring?
