My suggestion is to make players only able to talk in the world chat after reaching level 20, thus making it difficult for gold sellers to access the chat.

i appreciate that you are thinking in ways to solve this problem, but i dont believe thats going to work, why? Well, they would just put in the assembly line of bots to level to 20 instead of 5 or 10. The influx would be almost the same. And in the counterpart real players will be losing acess to this channel.

For example, because you made this post, we are talking about this topic, just ocurried to me a maquiavellic way to flag all gold buyers.

Turtle just have to create their own fake gold sellers, with a great offer. And all accounts that get in contact with this fake gold seller get flagged.

Well. I dont know that its a the best solution, but this idea just came to me because of yours, and i bet that the next guy will give one better,

this way players would think more about buying gold in game at least.

You could raise the level required to 60 and bots would still spam chat.

Fake goldsellers is good idea.

I would also propose to change requirement from "lvl" to "amount of explored zones".

In addition, there should be restriction on message length and on "cooldown" to write messages.
So you couldn't write multiple messages in /world in short timeframe.
You don't need to type there often anyway. There are also LFG spammers who are less harmful, but still annoying.

I like how you are discussing this topic as if established twow gold sellers dont already have a vvvvvery reliable supplier.

Ive played here long enough to see a gold seller spam for someone to sell them gold to instead be selling it.

If they wanted them gone, they would be.
