I lost my charater at lv58 with using a quest item

My HC charater Lyc do a quest name [Meet at the Grave],I just use the quest item, it dont say i will die,I thought it will be a buff/debuff to me,and i just die with no warning.I havent do this quest before and i leveling hours and hours with hope to lv60 with no fault.Im lv58 almost lv59.and i plant to level to 60 today.please help me.and i bought some donation rewards with this charater,i do love this charater and i do love turtle wow,and I didn't do anything wrong, when i start leveling my charater, I even searched forums that there's no any warning to HC players about this quest(some PVP quests have warnings in the forums).I just want to continue my journy.please help.And turtle wow do a lot of things to protect HC players die accidentally such as Falling Damage,PVP,etc..Why don't you turn off these quests to HC players?

The rules are as follows: if you die for any reason, that's the end of your run. No resets, no exceptions. Even if it's because the server crashed, you're on your own.
Like not entering a cave with an equal level and no way to save yourself, not aggroing more than two mobs, or simply not being AFK when logged in: Reading and researching special quests IS essential. Just writing the word "Videre" on the Worldchat or an HC guild channel would have saved your run as this quest is known like the white wolf. Sorry for your loss my friend, having lost a comrade of mine on the last lap of the HC race, I can understand the disappointment.

Why don't you turn off these quests to HC players?

Why don't you look up the details of an item you're not familiar with, before using it?

HC is not intended for people who have never played vanilla before.
