Nature resistance aura

Post by Kobiq » Thu Jun 15, 2023 11:51 am

If Shamans have NR totem, let's make Paladins have it too.

While there's alot of whining about our class and in fact, Paladins might be somewhat overpowerred against Warriors, we still get counterred pretty hard by Shamans (and other casters). All you need is to que some random WSG to see how THUNDER combo dominates the whole fight. NR aura will add some versatility overal and make it easier to survive THUNDER for whole alliance. Especially since there are some nerfs expected to be made where we exceed like Holy Strike against Warriors.

Sure, let's make a Holy resistant totem too, to combat that pure Holy damage critting for 5k.

Paladins have shadow protecion aura which shamans don't have - and let me tell you in every day situations shadow resistence is much more valuable for a paladin.

It negates manaburn and most fears. both cryppling weaknesses of paladin. If you think it will help you with PvP to have 60 Nature resistence you will quickly learn what spell penetration is. Any Elemental will almost inevitably pick up some spellpen due to the limited gearing options available.

Find a nice hunter to play with it you are scared of someone who freecasts on you for 4 seconds and then blows you up as a result.

The fact that it's holy only matters for warriors, who normally profit from plate armor. For mail the difference is not so big, but tbh, I dont mind that totem, excepting there is no such thing in the game as holy resistance.

PS 5k LOL

Bears are totally unkillable in BGs, so heaving holy strike is some nice attempt to balance them out.
