Yes! Set the realm list to logon.turtle-wow.org and it with automatically patch.

Can I log in with an old Turtle WoW version?
Yes! The client will automatically delete the old patches and download the new versions.

How do I transfer my settings and addons from an old client?
Copy your WTF folder and addons to your new client. DO NOT copy any other files.

Can I connect with a 1.14 (classic) or 3.3.5 (wrath) client?
Unfortunately, only vanilla-based (1.12.x) clients can connect.

I cannot connect to the server, what should I do?
Use a VPN to check for an ISP-related issue.

The game won't patch/update, how do I fix it?
There are multiple steps to attempt to fix this issue:

• 1. Ensure your folder is not in a protected directory (ex. Program Files, Downloads, Documents etc). We recommend something like C:\Games\TurtleWoW

• 2. Ensure the client is named WoW.exe

• 3. Run WoW.exe and TWPatcher.exe as Administrator

• 4. Disable Antivirus or Windows Defender.

Yes you can, if you have an M1/M2 mac (like me) you can install the Windows version inside of Parallels on your Mac. Works great, i even use the HD patch.

There are some articles also on how to use wineskin if you prefer that.

When downloading a torrent you can often select which files you would like download or not. qBittorrent is a good example. But it sounds like you would benefit from a fresh client, it's safer to download a fresh client imo.
