The client needs a torrent. Downloaded the client from the link in the first post of this thread. The archive is corrupted. One of the .mpq files is busted.
So yeah , the client needs to be uploaded on at least 3 hosts and at least one torrent and a magnet link.
Cuz at this moment in time, you cannot download a working client.

Both mirrors have the same SHA256 checksum and when I check the integrity there are no errors. I have created a torrent file, which is a more robust means of delivery. How does this work?

My process for anyone interested:

1. Get Motrix, a download manager for torrents and direct downloads.
2. Download the `.torrent` file using the link provided.
3. Open the downloaded torrent file in Motrix. (I doubled clicked it after it downloaded, automatically opened with Motrix)
4. Start the torrent download (about 7.4GB of size) and wait a while.
5. Voila, TWoW should be able to be extracted easily.

6. Optional, compare the SHA256 of the downloaded ZIP and the hash provided earlier on this forum page:

- Go to the folder where the `.zip` for TWoW is downloaded using Command Prompt.
- Run the following and wait for it to process:

certutil -hashfile <TWoW zip> SHA256

- Open your Browser Development Tools (Right-click -> Inspect)
- Go to the JavaScript console and type the following, replace `your_hash` with the SHA256 that you see in `cmd`.

Guys, i am desperate.
I deleted all game files because the game was buggy, but this new download files just dont work. I downloaded them here and on all the named torrents, but i can not extract all the files, so i can not update or start the game.
Please, somebody tell me what i can do, the .MPQ files just cant be extracted.

Is there an older download i can try and update later? I want to continue to play on turtle please. ^^

I downloaded the client and extracted it several times but each time I try to tun the exe file (the game) I get a popup message that says Unable to open Errorcode#134 Failed to open texture file MPQ system cannot fid the file specified.

I'm looking forward to playing Turtle wow Hope I can do so while fresh server is still fresh. But currently there is something wrong with the download file. If someone could send me an older download link that still works that would be great.

Yes you can, if you have an M1/M2 mac (like me) you can install the Windows version inside of Parallels on your Mac. Works great, i even use the HD patch.

There are some articles also on how to use wineskin if you prefer that.

Also having a problem where my wow.exe, wowfov.exe and turtlewowpatcher.exe are not in the directory.
On patch release they got deleted from my directory.

I was in game playing the night before the patch dropped in August and have been trying to fix this on my own since.

Finally got around to redownloaded the zip from the .1170 link on this thread and it won't allow me to move the wow.exe & wowFoV.exe files into the directory for all my games directory even with admin permission, tried the C drive recommendation and still no good. Twowpatcher is not in the download.

No idea what to do, i might try the link above to the torrent but i feel like the same thing will happen.

not sure what I need to do here.

I can most certainly advise on this: yes, it is safe to whitelist. This is a false positive.

I just wanted to start WoW but my Windows Secrurity Shield stops the application and says "Warning, Trojan".

I deleted the whole WoW folder and have just downloaded it again. but now the same warning pops up and I cant launch the .exe

It's a false positive. Any modified executable is going to be flagged. There are multiple posts/threads about this in the forums.

Ich bin leider lost habe WineSkin aber kriege immer eine FehlerMeldung und der Client startet nicht. Ich habe eine MacVersion gefunden bräuchte jedoch eine Guideline wie ich den Server implementiere!

I keep having the "Your game interface files are corrupted. Please remove your Interface/FrameXML" whenever I integrate a new addon, and now I cannot fix it with a reinstall of the game. The fix was supposed to be the torrent?
