Armor Penetration on Hunters

Hi Turtles,

New to Turtle WoW, leveling a BM Hunter. I just did Hateforge Quarry, and Corrosive dropped Corrosive Core.

Do Hunters benefit from the Effect of ignoring the target's armor? (it says ignore 75 of the target's armor)

Do Hunters benefit from armor penetration in general, or is it totally useless for Hunters?

Hunters benefit, but the stat is generally weak unless the mob you fight only has around 100 armor and you destroy most of the remaining with the item.
