Low FPS when i login
Everytime i login i have around 60 fps and when i change monitor refresh rates to something else my FPS is 140. I have to change this everytime i login to get higher fps. What is wrong?

Vertical Sync sets your FPS to whatever your System can run consistently. So if your system fluctuates between 60 and 144 fps, it will just stay at 60 fps so you don't notice it jumping.
Conversely this means if you're able to comfortably run 144+ fps, it will lock FPS to 144fps until your performance drops (i.e. walking into populated Stormwind/Goldshire) which may drop it back to 60fps.
Have you made sure no Addon is heavily reducing your performance? (There's an addon called KLHPerformanceMeter that tells you how much CPU power each addon uses).
