World Events

Post by Kazgrim » Mon Feb 25, 2019 6:50 am

World events are always fun. I remember when the Legion invaded Orgrimmar pre-TBC, as well as when plague spread and turned everyone to ghouls pre-Wotlk. I think some interesting world events that are server-wide would be a great addition.

I think it'd be an interesting idea as well to think of the future, and perhaps go in a different direction than the canon order of events. We could write our own history and our own version of Azeroth rather than follow the story we already experienced.

Attacking chickens like Zelda would be crazy and fun!

Maybe a Goblin craze, where they try and take over cities. NPCs fighting Goblin Guard NPCs trying to take over alliance/Horde towns/cities

We already have Elemental Invasions right?
Maybe have Scourge invasions on Argent Dawn locations and Scarlet Crusade Locations.

I'd love to see repeatable quests are actually working at least for DMF for the start. Turtle WoW Staff had fixed the containers issue recently, which makes it clear they do something regarding these li'l bugs here and there. I dearly hope they do care about making the core content playable and bug-free first, add stuff later.

I believe that’s already what they are doing, this was just a mere suggestion for things to come. (That’s what this forum is for after all) satisfied_turtle

I think these events would be something interesting to draw inspiration from!

This would be good. Maybe adding mini bosses depending of the level range of the zone that they will spawn
