Hi, im currently unable to take a flight path. every time i click on the location i want to fly to i get a message saying unspecified taxi server error. Ive deleted both wtf and wdb folders and issue persists. my character is level 11 atm, is there any restrictions on them or something? i have flight paths in orgrimmar and crossroads, and on my way to thunderbluff to see if i can fly from there.

so i was able to fly from thunderbluff to org but the mount turned around and is flying through the terrain heading south west. cant jump off or do anything

Hello, i got the same issue with the fly from Ratchet to Orgrimmar.

I can take the fly from Ratchet to the Crossroad then to Org but can't take it directly from Ratchet to Org or from Org to Ratchet. The same message appears : unspecified taxi server error.

Probably the most annoying and well visible issue on the server

Attempted to fly from Ratchet to Astranaar and received "UNSPECIFIED TAXI SERVICE ERROR" message.

Relogged, attempted again, same result.

Anyone have a fix/workaround for this?

Unfortunately, Ratchet's Flight Path is bugged when flying longer distances.
For Alliance trying to fly north from Ratchet, you need to fly to the flight path in Azshara (really simple to pick up at a low level since it's right by the border with Ashenvale), and from there you can fly anywhere you want. I also believe Alliance can fly to Theramore from Ratchet as well, and from there fly anywhere, but I'm not sure about that. Theramore's flight path should be easy for low levels to pick up as well because of boats from Eastern Kingdoms to Kalimdor.

For Horde, it's best to fly from Ratchet to the Cross Roads.

Today still bugged...

Also having this issue on level 3 High Elf Paladin. Trying to go from any path (Lock Modan, Searing Gorge, Elwynn Forest) gives this error. Was trying to run to the gnome/dwarf starting zone to play with a friend.

The cause of the issue is known and it has already been stated that it will be fixed in the next patch. The issue is the client files that determine flightpaths say you can go certain routes (that were lifted from TBC) but the server does not have those routes programmed, thus the error is received. This issue should be resolved already and applied with 1.16.1.

Because there is still no new patch, the fix will come with it.
Meanwhile fly to another destination first.
