Nobody's arguing for these things. If your argument is, what I assume, 'let's leave it and police abuse of it rather than change the item itself', then just say that, rather than being facetious.

I do like the idea of having a razor pun. Instead of "The Nicker" how about "The Nick Blade" or "The Close Shave" "Orgrim's Razor" ect? Something that keeps the pun strong without having to read "[Shoot][The Nicker]" in world chat constantly.

Leave as it is, if you are disturbed with this, you wont last the cocainum quest chain of thousand needles.

It sounds like another word, an obscenity, when you pronounce it. Even though, to "nick" means: a small cut or notch, and given it looks like a shaving razor blade, you can nick yourself when shaving and it causes you to bleed, hence "The Nicker" or the thing that nicks. That is the point of the name.

To put it bluntly, when pronouncing it in english it sounds like a racial slur against african/african-american people. There are many jokes associated with this, so the joke here is to substitute the slur with linking the item's name.

Im in this server about the community. Never saw any bad chat or toxic people

Is like in real life. You live in a society. People talk trash and are trashy words. You cant do anithing about it

But you can do is choose the people around you.

In all my years in turtle never saw any racist comment or discrimination. The very few times i saw something was quickly silenced by the community itself

So nicker is a bad word. Well... Ok. There are a lot.of bad words. You can remove it from game but if someone wanna offend you will use other thousand of them

Maybe because i grew up i learned to have "deafness" to those people. Because i think one is.offended only if he want it

As a human, I think it's a ridiculous and unnesesary move to rename stuff like this, as a manager I just want that our support is focused on helping people rather than dealing with the trolls.
