How/where to get turtle mount

I was told at level 10 I would just receive the turtle mount but I'm at level 11 now with no mount. Seeing plenty of other players with it. Wondering how to get mine so I don't have to go on foot everywhere.

Assuming you're talking about the riding turtle you start with, that should normally appear in your spellbook at level 1 without anything required on your end. Regardless, I'd try to file a ticket since it will more likely be seen than a forum post.

You used to get the turtle in your spellbook at level 5, however now apparently its a quest from the Darkmoon fare

The Riding Turtle can now be obtained via quest at level 20 from Silas Darkmoon.

It's June 2023 and you need to be level 18 now

The turtle mount comes from a quest that you get from Silas darkmoon, at darkmoon faire, wherever that might be. The minimum level is 18 and you can do it pretty safely at that level no matter your class.
