[Warrior] Weapon Skill & Fury vs Deep Prot

Hi:

Awesome server - enjoying the turtle action.

Q1: Is weapon skill like it was in vanilla classic? if so, I assume humans are the best choice (for Alliance) because of their +swords/+maces racial. I was considering rolling a High Elf warrior but wanted to check on the weapon skill stuff. I'm also not sure how useful meditate would be for warrior (I saw it does boost HP).

Q2: Is fury/prot still top-dog for warrior threat gen or have things been changed to where deep prot is the best for threat gen?

Basically it's the same meta as classic, for some bosses you may need to tank with a shield but if you can survive, fury prot dual wield is better. Weapon skill is also required for minmax.
