Book writing feature

Post by Oathbound » Sun Feb 14, 2021 7:57 am

Hello,

I am not sure if this feature has already been suggested, but I thought it is a good idea. I'm interested in writing a journal or a book for my character. It would be great if there's a way to do that in Turtle Wow. I imagine it to be like writing a letter, but in an empty book item, for example. What do you think?

And then you could like... Give it to other players to read, damn. That would be so cool.

Best written and lore-friendly book (even an adventure like Pearlhunt) with no meta-gaming and OOC stuff might get implemented as a readable book stored somewhere at an appropriate place.

One could technically use the mail system?

Hm book items can’t be made in the item forge? Some book items let you right click to open to read just like a gameobject book.

I use it. But it is only good for short notes.

Also, mail desperately needs for a better font. Something that doesn't make you eyes bleed.

Within minutes of its creation you'd have people making an in-universe Warcraft version of The Lusty Argonian Maid. Based.

Very cool idea. It would be possible to create a personal story. And I would be interested in reading other people’s books, other players. I only have problems with school essays. I don’t know what to write there. I had to use https://chatgpt.com/g/g-a0ULgFcuZ-essay-helper for this. And when it comes to the lotr world, there are so many things you can come up with.
