Macro situation on twow

I feel like there should be a thread that makes this clear about macros.

Im new to macros and i have no clue what to do really.

What macros work in twow ?

Do you use script macro ?

Are script macros the same as legacy or vanilla macros ?

Can you use classic wow macros ?

What addons do u need to use classic macro ?

Can you just copy paste classic wow macros from google and it will now work ?

Is there a downside to using classic macros instead of script macros ?

What is the difference ?

Do 1 button rotations/cast sequences work on twow ?

I would apreciate an answer to all these ;D

it's 1.12 client, you need to find those legacy macros for vanilla client, not classic

Roid macro and Super macro are very handy or I can say essential. https://denniswg.github.io/Roid-Macros/
In class subsection on the forum and on the Discord, one can find tested and properly function macros for the server.
