I'd really like to be able to work with the Scarlets beyond a quest in Desolace. Getting an alternate path for Humans, High Elves and Dwarves through the Plaguelands instead of working with the wimpy Argents would be sweet.

I'm pretty sure Scarlets wouldn't welcome dwarves and elves into their organization. They basically have Garithos' stance on races - there are only humans and INHUMAN BEASTS THAT MUST BE PURGED!

There's literally statues of inhuman heroes of Scarlets in the Monastery...

There's literally statues of inhuman heroes of Scarlets in the Monastery...

I haven't noticed those, where are they and which races do they portray?
My guess is that it was perhaps an oversight by blizzard or a leftover from a better time in the organization's history. Currently, there are no non-human members of the Scarlet Crusade (if you don't count Fairbanks, who looks strangely thin and smells funny.)

And it is definitely not an oversight. These statues make perfect sense with the lore of SC's origin.

Yes, they did. But not after, and i'm quoting the wiki here, "Balnazzar established control over the Scarlet Crusade, which soon became synonymous with corruption and extremism.".

So playing modern SC proper kind of requires you to be a racist; but yeah you can twist and bend and say you are one of the still "good" crusaders that is totally not a racist and also still somehow part of the organisation.

Could always join the Scarlet Crusade Guild, I used to be in it a few years back and did some RP :)

It would be nice to be able to gain reputation with the Scarlet Crusade while being from the Alliance.
For example, some Scarlet Revolution faction (just as there was in retail but obviously more elaborate), that wishes to remove the current regiment over the faction, and that is a faction with which only the Alliance can gain reputation.

Wasn't there some quest chain that required you to make a disguise and infiltrate Tyr's Hand and made all scarlets friendly? If it has multiple uses, it can be used as a powerful RP tool.

It works only in EP iirc.

I still have the ring, in my bags, that made me friendly to the Scarlet Crusade, but is no longer works in game but was really cool for walking around SM in your Scarlet gear for RP.

You could do the chain quest line I think if you were human, super cool exp in the early years of the server
