On October 6th, Turtle WoW reaches an important milestone — 5 years of being around! We are incredibly grateful to every player in our wonderful community for choosing Turtle WoW as their home. It has been an incredible journey, and we are thrilled to be picking up speed!

New EU Realm

We are excited to announce the launch of a new PvP realm on October 27th. Here are some important details:

The realm type is going to be PvP.

Hardcore Challenge will not be available on launch.

Any crossfaction interactions, such as chatting, grouping, guilds, and trades, will not be possible.

We will closely monitor faction balance to ensure a healthy ecosystem, using both manual and automated systems.

Transfers from current realm will not be available.

Thank you for the update. Had I known there was going to be a new PvP server available to play on - I would have just waited and started leveling there.

Will transfers be allowed to the new PvP server?

Will the new realm be hosted in the same location as the current EU realm?

Will there be additional pvp balances made? I foresee a large Alliance population due to the heavy buffs paladins have received. The current EU realm already sees a larger alliance population. https://turtle-wow.org/#/population-graph with Horde players being almost doubled by alliance.

I think you should allow cross-faction talking, at the very least. It's fun.

maybe in 6 months or so?

i am happy that with this we can move past the constant fresh when spamm on forum, discord and ingame. hopefully it wont be replaced by constant pvp balance cries instead *coping

I'm wondering if the bgs will be linked? Would be essential to keep bgs alive on the PVe realm

Also is it going to release raids in phases like classic, or naxx open on day 1?

No, it'd be unfair toward ungeared PvP realm players to face PvE realm players on the Battleground.

On the new pvp server will we be able to play two accounts at the same time for leveling purposes gaining experience? if not will it be limited to non leveling activities like portaling alts around, making them water, buffing, etc....

Here in PVE realm, World buffs were not used in raids. It was compensated by having both Shamans and Palas.
Do you take it in account in terms of raid balance? Have you ever considered giving Palas and Shamans to the Horde and Alliance?

Maybe make so you can choose to queue globally (all servers) or just with people from your own server?
(I have no clue how hard that would be btw

i would just ignore pvp balance.... enjoz hardmode raiding

I'm more into playing as Pala but...I hate Alliance. I don't think we will get it but worth asking anyway.
