Maybe a ultra - epic race mount? Like the cool pvp viciois war mounts

Maybe a old-god mount? A quiraji mount usabe anywhere

What's the point of banning a dragon mount for being non-lore friendly, and yet keeping store stuff like floating cloud mounts? Be consistent, or don't bother.

And what about a dragonspawn? Those without wings and 4 legs

Could a player fit on it?

i would say any mount as long as it is with a custom turtle wow skin or carrying a turtle wow flag

How about no mount but the people who get the immortal title really are immortal and can't go below 1 hit point no matter the damage. :)

Bigger topic. From my perspective, two questions about dragon:

• What about the dragon? Will we be able to acquire it?

• If so, how? If not, when is the change expected to come in? :(

I'm excited to see that this might be changed, but what about those who've already used the Armored Azure Drake? Personally, I'd be very happy to have it be removed from my collection and be sent anything else in it's place.

If we must replace the dragons imho we should have more turtles

If the issue is they cannot fly, why not add a ability that allows the rider to fly for 30 seconds but has an 1hr cooldown?

Alternatively if that idea is broken, the next best thing would be dinosaurs, Devilsaurs will suffice for HC

How about the Ultramarine Qiraji Battle Tank? It's a qiraji tank usable outside of AQ but not the scarab gong one.

I do like the drake, even if it can't fly.

I don't really like dragons as mounts, they're overused and way too generic.
Dragons fits more for World Boss / Raid Drops but not for a Hardcore Challenge reward.

Alternatively, I'd also suggest a Bronze Dragonflight imbued mount, like the headless horseman mount but with bronze dragonflight coloration to match the immortality of the title. Or the spectral steeds with bronze colors.

Not sure if these are available somewhere else but I always thought these are cool.

Personally I'd suggest making completely custom mounts for the challenge, it's a custom challenge after all. Perhaps making two mounts representative of each faction, maybe there could be a contest for players to design them? I can imagine the artistically talented people of the server would love to partake in something like that.

Don’t know if it would be remotely viable.

But as a gimmicky fun reward, a ground mount that makes you immune to fall damage (maybe with an internal CD).

First, I like the idea of getting rid of the flyers. They look janky and are too large.

Someone suggested a particular color of quiraji mount, I like that. So long as its not the gong one. That should stay unique as well.

Edit: If those that already have a flyer want to keep theirs, I would not be opposed to them being grandfathered and allowed to keep them. They are not yet so many that its a major problem.

I trust Turtle WoW team and I'm ready for any changes.

This is probably the best option!

Dont add any mount so people stop making hardcore characters that are unable to trade or group with the large influx of new players you just gained. Hardcore players steal your tags and get pissy when you take theirs, they try and subtly follow you through caves to steal your tag of the quest mob at the end, all in all just provide absolutely nothing of value to the community besides shared schadenfreude when one dies.

I like the choose your own option (I do think it should be a flyer if you want one though).

The Celestial Steed from Wotlk kind of match the Immortal title :)

Some of the suggestions here are really good and I'd be happy with any of them, notably the Spectral Mounts, Horseman horse or Quiraji mount. If we can only choose one, I'd def go for the spectrals.

As a possible suggestion for a way to use all of them, what if, instead of the actual mount, you got an item called something like "Reins of the Immortal Rider," and there was a new mount vendor in each capital that sold a selection of these special, unique mounts in exchange for the reins? And you could occasionally add new options, so there would be a repeatable quest for all Immortal characters to unlearn their chosen mount, get the reins back and buy a new mount.

First choice:
Spectral phoenix mount. Phoenix is associated with rebirth and people will have to re-roll over and over until they finally complete HC I find satire in it, while also being an awesome mount.

Second choice:
The Qiraji Battle Tanks because the Qiraji are under C'thun who is the god of chaos and madness and you have to be mad to complete HC. C'thun also existed before Azeroth probably inhabiting the twisting nether or void wherever your soul goes when you die on HC. This gives lore to the mysterious stranger and wishes to destroy Azeroth's heroes by giving them a challenge few will complete reducing their numbers.

At lvl 60 after completing HC you get a token in the mail from the mysterious stranger stating to find him in Silithus to claim your reward where he stands by the gates of AQ and you turn the token in and he opens to a vendor page where you can buy a Qiraji Battle Tank in a variety of colors (except black), perhaps other mounts if the devs wanted and old HC that have the drake and buy the new mounts. Instead of switching in and out just have them all in the mount tab. You can buy more than one of the battle tanks and they would work like regular mounts anywhere on Azeroth. This gives more immersion than just receiving something directly in the mail and builds up anticipation, the final ride out to Silithus to claim the prize, as well as a nice conclusion and a congratulations from the mysterious stranger that started it all that you have not seen since leaving the starter area.

Third choice:
Or you know headless horseman mount in the mail. That's cool too.
