Is it allowed to kill Hardcore players with Warmode nowadays?

A few years ago, this server allowed you to grief or kill HC players with Warmode without the risk of getting your account banned. Something that few servers allowed back then.

(At that time, there were so many active griefers, that a very entertaining way to play was to "play with an HC character with active WM, avoiding the biggest griefers on the server.)

I recently returned to the server and noticed that they updated the rules. Griefing is prohibited now. So my question is: Nowadays, can you be penalized for killing HC with Warmode active?

Define "grief"

Killing HC players with WM on is always permitted!
a Hunter named "Trypto" is the new "Valkar" nowadays...

You can kill as many as you want as long as they willingly flag themselves for PvP

If they have flagged themselves willingly, such as by taking warmode, it is fine.

If you trick them into flagging unwillingly or use an exploit to flag them, it is punished.

Thank you for not abandoning the Griefing community completely. Just being able to kill the WM HC is enough to enjoy the experience.

Giving you a bit of background story.
There was a priest on this server who MC-d insects in Silithus (I think) and with them he was able to kill a non-WM HC character who was very close to 60.
Grief-prevention rules are against things like this.

The team could disable that combination and instead add it as new mode (HC with increased experience gain) to the PvP realm. Maybe that would boost the population over there. :)

Currently HC+WM mode is the only way to do griefing without suffering consequences. If they disable that mode on the PVE server, we would lose what little we have left for our Griefing game mode. (at least on the PVE server)
