MAKE FIRE WARLOCK VIABLE!!!
Maybe just some small talent buffs, such as a bigger threat reduction talent on Searing Pain, and stronger aoe talents for Hellfire/Rain.

Was thinking about something but I am not experienced enough to judge:
would improved searing pain talent removing the extra threat from searing pain - allowing destro warlocks to spam it instead of shadow bolts - would this break the game?

Aint the idea that searing pain makes you able to steal threat from your demon pet if needed?

It's already viable... Just as long as you're not doing MC or BWL.

Based on how you consider firelock.
SM/Ruin and DS/Ruin are raid meta but you never see a conflag lock raiding unless he embraces a meme.
SM/Ruin and DS/Ruin can kinda be considered firelocks but in reality they spam shadowbolts, put up curses and finish with shadowburn.
