is Paladin good on turtle? and should i play one?

Hello everyone I'm a Refugee from Retail and have been eyeing Turtle for awhile now due all the custom content

i was wondering if playing Paladin is worth it here? if so what Talent tree would be good for Solo Leveling and pvp? on Retail i mostly played Warlock and mage so i have no experience with Melee Classes

if anyone has any other advance for a First time paladin player please let me know in the comments

If PvP is your concern, pick paladin. Literally the best class without a doubt. If PvE is your focus... The class is also a decent pick, but don't expect to be a desirable tank in raiding content. Everything else is very good and holy is arguably the best raid healer out there. As common as it is, ret is also a good pick.

Yeah, until you meet someone who knows how to play against a pala. If you want to PvP - pick rogue, mage, shaman (especially elemental) or warlock. Or even shadow priest.

Pvp has insane burst while being super defensive.
On pve great as a healer, very decent tank if properly built for it (loses steam by aq40) and okayish dps as ret, so those ret mains tend to specialize into weapons with armor reduction chance on hit or nightfall.

OP, if you ever read this.
Palas in PVE are in a very interesting spot. Pala tanks are valid until later raids. Retri is honestly a good PVE option. Not the most complex class but it's okay. Holy is good. I mean the better gear you get, the better it is. Would call it a very good lategame build.
At PVP they are broken.

I wouldn't recommend starting a Paladin right now with nerf rumours going round. Play a shaman, they are already s tier in pvp and will only get buffed soon
