The Epic Saga of Story by James R. R. R. K. Clark

Long ago, there was a great war, which we call The Great War. Where our freedom was threatened by the Evil Dark lords of... Evil. Led by the Even Darker Lord, they drove our people, the Kabloranthepja to extinction. But the evil was defeated by the combined forces of The Good and we had survived miraculously. None of this will be mentioned again, for it is not relevant to The Story.

Our story actually begins with the story of a young boy named... Hadvar but some call him Hedvar. He was born in a Rural Viking Farming Village known as Our Village. A prodigy, at the age of 5 he possessed the strength of a 6 year old! When he was slightly older, he set out from Our Village because he had found the Sword of Power, which granted him the Abilities of Power. After all that hard training, he was ready to take on the new, slightly different evil that yet stirs somewhere... menacingly.

One fateful day, a very mysterious, hooded, cloaked, old prophet came to the town of Our Village. And then he left. Hodvar was enjoying his mead, as any Viking farmer would do, when another mysterious old man arrived. He told of the New Ancient Evil that had been stirring. The stirring had now finished and the New Ancient Evil was ready. He told him that only he can defeat this evil because he is the Specially Picked One but before that, he must complete Three Tasks. Haudvar accepted.

For the First Task, he had to find the most rarest, unique, one of a kind Gemstone. Only then may he proceed. Huadvar remembered that he had accidentally tripped over a gemstone three years ago and presented it. The old man confirmed it was indeed THE special gemstone. But he warned that his Second Task would not be so easy.

After completing the Second Task not so easily, the most difficult Third Task was yet to come. Haedvar must rescue The Princess held hostage by The Dragon in a Big Castle. Reaching the Big Castle, he was stopped by the Black Knight. He was so tall that he could be easily spotted from a crowd. His armor was the blackest of the black, with a great many spikes, a big helmet and even bigger shoulder-pads, wielding 10 weapons! He would not let him pass. But Hedvar saw that the knight’s weakness were his untrained legs. Thus tripping the great knight, who could no longer get up, our hero proceeded into the castle dungeon, braving all sorts of traps and ghouls until he breached the innermost sanctum. There he was greeted by a little mushroom man who informed him that he had indeed come to the wrong castle, for the princess was in another.

After getting the EXACT location from the little mushroom man, he headed out for the Right Castle. Getting on his flying horse, he trotted to the location, which took him three weeks. Finally he was at the Right Castle. The Dragon was there. Hotvar surrounded the Fortress and laid siege to it. The Dragon was a bit cranky and breathed fire onto him. But luckily, the special, unique, one and only Gem he had found for his first task, was a gem of fire protection. Being slightly more annoyed now, the Dragon flew down to face the hero directly. Having the strength of an unknown amount of men, Hatvar punched the Dragon very hard. The Dragon pleaded that he was the Last Dragon and killing him would be very sad. But our hero informed him that he had slain the last Last Dragon last week and the ruse was up. While in a choke hold, the Dragon admitted to stealing Princess Apricot and that he would exchange her for his own life. The Dragon turned out to be an avid collector of many Princesses and as a gesture of good faith, he also gave the hero a limited edition Princess from his collection, box unopened!

The Third Task was now complete. Hotvar had married the grateful Princess Apricot and inherited half the Kingdom of The Kingdom. Now with all tasks complete, he set out to banish the New Ancient Evil once and for all.

It was a Dark and Stormy Night, when Hetvar found the Dark Gloomy Tower of the Eviler Dark Lord. After defeating all of his Dark and Evil Undead minions, he had now come face to face with his Ancient adversary, in his Dark and Dreary study, where even the curtains were Dark. The King, who was also a Lich, stood up from his wheelchair, put in his teeth and put on his spectacles, all the better to see him with. He offered him tea and biscuits but Hautvar saw right through his evil scheme and said “no”. This angered the King of Liches, who was also British and the Final Battle began finally.

The Evil King, who happened to be a Lich, spoke some butchered Latin at him and our hero fell to his knees. Then, instead of finishing him off, the Dark Lord told him how he WILL finish him off SOON. But first, he must know the truth. For he was indeed, his Father!!! dun dun duuuun. Hadvar denied it, it was not possible. But since he had amnesia all his life, it might be. The Dark Father asked him politely, because he was still British, to join him and together they would achieve world domination. But Hedvar, who had up until now, not used the Sword of Power yet, drew it from his scabbard and threw it away. He would never join him! The Ancient Undead Lord was so taken aback by this blatant defiance, that his jaw dropped. As he kneeled down to pick it up, Hudvar seized the opportunity and uppercutted his enemy, whose rattly bones broke and scattered. And thus the Great, New, Ancient evil was defeated. And no new evil was seen nor heard for like at least another week.

Our Hero returned to Our Village, forgetting he had half of The Kingdom as well, settling down as a Farming Viking, just like his true father, who was dead, had always wanted.

The End.
