Horde pvp mages opinion needed

Whats your pvp experience as a horde mage ?
I've noticed quadrillion alliance hunters every battleground, and each time i spam dispell poison i think about some mages could be in trouble oom in 2 seconds because 5 vipers.
Also paladins with their freedom, are they inconvenience or a real trouble ?

Whats you bg experience as a horde ?
Wanna play a mage alt but not sure if iam ready to break a keyboard.

There is never too much mages :) i myself dont play the class but love them in a party,just so useful
