Had somebody in game ask me about it so decided to make a video. Hopefully somebody will find this helpful or interesting.

For what it's worth, I play just fine using Lutris

Thanks for making this, I hope it helps our fellow penguins :)
But yeah, ordinary wine/lutris should work just fine too.
Nydas - 60 High Elf Mage (Nordanaar)
Farren - 60 Tauren Shaman (Nordanaar)
Gothric - 15 Human Paladin (Nordanaar)
Markal - 58 Undead Priest (Tel'Abim)

Good video! Just wanted to add a few points.

1. Windows or Linux, just backup your Interface and WDB files to the cloud if possible. It's a couple hundred MB. There are plenty of free cloud options that can handle that.

2. The git addon manager works in Linux.

The Lutris installer works great as well. I use
https://lutris.net/games/world-of-warcr ... lich-king/ instead of the turtle wow one because it always says it's loading shaders while running. With the Lutris install script, I've never had to use vanilla tweaks or any other mod to get my game to run at a smooth 120fps on modern low end hardware.
