Do warriors get better in endgame PVP/PVE?
I'm new to playing a warrior (leveling as an arms warrior rn) and in dungeons I feel weak in comparison to other classes depending on the situation. Do warriors get better with time?
It could be a matter if me learning as well but I have the rotation down (at least I think lol).

Their gear scaling is ridiculous so yes they get very powerful, best tank and best DPS

Warrior (At least fury and fury/prot) warrior is the best DPS and best tank at endgame with gear. And even without it you're very solid. Arms is actually a decent spec for DPS in endgame simply due to warrior scaling as well as it does, but fury is your best bet. Now, PvP wise, you're kinda fucked. Warrior, even as arms, the best PvP spec for the class, you'll be pretty underwhelming in most situations especially without help. Sure, you can pump big numbers and hit hard, but that isn't worth much when most classes can either kite you, or other melee classes have some sort of way to counter or disable you. (Rogues usually have the opening and stunlock until you're dead. Paladin is just... Paladin... Druid can bear and frenzied regen, or kite. I'm not sure on shammy, but they can kite a bit against warrior too.)

Elmhoof - 60 Feral Tank (Tauren) Left to pick up dust
I can't play even if I wanted to, now that my laptop's out of commission. It's been fun, but I'll be gone for a while before I can get a new one.

to do well in dungeons as arms you have to play around sweeping strikes and try to conserve rage between pulls. a good opening move in the dungeons is to charge into sweeping strikes into berserker stance into whirlwind. on 3 mobs whirlwind under sweeping strikes will give you 6 white swings worth of damage. be mindful of threat thoughDumbowumbo wrote: ↑Fri Sep 15, 2023 8:52 pmI'm new to playing a warrior (leveling as an arms warrior rn) and in dungeons I feel weak in comparison to other classes depending on the situation. I figured that was the case too!
I assumed PVP would kind of be like that. I'm a rogue main so it's not problem, I can stick to rogue with that!Bigsmerf wrote: ↑Fri Sep 15, 2023 9:02 pmWarrior (At least fury and fury/prot) warrior is the best DPS and best tank at endgame with gear. Thank you for going into specifics! I'll try this as soon as I get sweeping strikes and whirlwind (I'm barely level 26).Shaman111 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 15, 2023 9:06 pmto do well in dungeons as arms you have to play around sweeping strikes and try to conserve rage between pulls. a good opening move in the dungeons is to charge into sweeping strikes into berserker stance into whirlwind. on 3 mobs whirlwind under sweeping strikes will give you 6 white swings worth of damage. be mindful of threat thoughDumbowumbo wrote: ↑Fri Sep 15, 2023 8:52 pmI'm new to playing a warrior (leveling as an arms warrior rn) and in dungeons I feel weak in comparison to other classes depending on the situation. Arms warriors are a cornerstone of any kind of organized PvP and absolute bulldozers with support.

Re: Do warriors get better in endgame PVP/PVE?
You get a huge power spike the moment you get 9% hit so your abilities won't miss.
Landing hits generate rage
Also the rage generated is proportional to the damage caused, so once you start stacking crit and attack power you'll have more and more rage so you'll be able to spend in more and more abilities.
The 1st step, 9% hit, won't come until you're lv 60 with some hit gear from dungeons and 20 man raids
Warrior is a class that needs to group up, alone they're kinda bad, no sprints, starts the combat with 0 resources, need to eat constantly, etc. That's why they excel in group pve and are very destructive in pvp with a backup healer

I never tried arms warrior as dps in 5man dungeons.
Any non-tank role on low levels means rage starving for warriors. All you have is to autoattack and Decisive strike (twow alternative to slam).

Xudo - tauren warrior 19 Sergeant armory. Consumed by real life.
No 60 lvl character.
Applying enchant to item should increase required level
Add lvl requirement to bandages
Best and optimal gear for 10-19 twinks
Have fun not only at 60.
