I have seen that talents can be used to modify, demote and even nullify abilities, in order to improve others or add a new one
thanks to this you could create a class like the martial arts fighter in a warrior or in a rogue
They could only use weapons such as the stick or gloves, but they would be immune to disarming.
logically the use of armor will be limited in the case of the warrior and stealth will be lost in the rogue

Yeah but Lore wise dont make sense monks on classic
But that idea of subclasses is neat.
Imagine NE rogues quest or talent to lose stealth and become a warden(now can only use shadowmelt to do stealth openers) but get a shadowblink(only enabled in shadowmelt) skill fan of knives and poison dagger throw.
