I don't understand why people get so bent out of shape about pizza toppings or the way a toilet paper roll should face, whether candy corn is good or not etc. Not everything needs to be an outrage fest.

I'm not a pineapple lover by any means, however when you bake a pineapple the caramelization makes it uber tangy and sweet. Couple that with the saltiness of the ham and/or bacon and its very tasty.

No wrong or right answer. If you don't like it, you do you boo.

I know this is a joke topic, but I'm going to give a serious opinion on this matter.

When I went to an all-you-can-eat pizza place in my youth, I remember trying various types of pizza. One of these was "Hawaiian" pizza. Ham, pineapple, cheese, and sauce were all that was on it. The pineapple chunks were small and manageable. The pizza was a nice treat.

Later in life, I tried a slice of Hawaiian pizza that had massive chunks of pineapple on it. It was horrible, but only because I don't generally like pineapple by itself. I mean, the pizza was basically more pineapple than pizza, the way they did it.

Finally, I tired frozen pineapple pizza from the store.
… do not eat store-bought pineapple pizza. It is irredeemable.

If there's one thing that I've learned, it's that pineapple on pizza largely depends on how it's prepared and where it comes from. The sharpness of the pineapple should be noticeable, but not overwhelming. For my tastes, I'd probably take a store-bought pizza and add small pieces from a can of fruit cup – if only because I don't like pineapple enough to commit to buying a pineapple. The pineapple should not be cooked with the pizza, but added to a piping hot pie. Baking pineapple will just destroy it or make it taste funny. Although, if you bake pineapple that's completely covered up by cheese or other toppings, it might be okay… I just don't think pineapple or banana should be baked on a pizza. Sliced apples, though? Mm… maybe. Maybe…

Pineapple on Paladins is unforgivable! They are already overpowered and now they get pineapple as well? This is the whole 'should Hunters wear black and blue or white and gold dresses' debacle all over again.
