Beware the Pterrodax

Hi fellow hunters,
How are you guys dealing with this quest in Un'goro?
The mobs perma fear my pet leaving me with all the aggro, this doesn't happen in the retail version of classic, so must be something different here.
Finding it near impossible to complete with nowhere to kite.

[Unchallenged]

Intimidation...
Bestial Wrath...
Concussive Shot...
Slow Traps...
Wing Clip...

Don't think Pterrodax is the issue here.
