Mail shirts
Mail shirts
I'd like to suggest a fun addition: Mail looking shirts.
There are many armors in the game, that are revealing, and without a shirt or tabard, its unusable on some characters for Tmogging.
Or, there are many plate, or mail armors without anything defending your arms.
I see NPCs wearing the same armor as me, but he has more armor under that breastplate.
Example:
So what im saying is, it would be nice, if some mail armor looking shirts were added to the game, so us, armor users could be more fashionable.
Could be added to Blacksmithing, even Leatherworking maybe. Or just vendors.

Re: Mail shirts
Yeah, it would be nice to not have every other plate chest exposing your vital organs for no reason, and mail shirts would take care of that

Re: Mail shirts
HUGE +1 to this, especially to just have more armoured shirts.
Currently the only one which achieves this effect is the Warrior starter shirt for Humans, Dwarves, and Gnomes,Recruit's Shirt, however it does not cover the arms. I have to have it on every single one of my armoured characters, especially the women.
This is a pipe dream but it would be great to have an undergarment slot on the legs too so we don't necessarily have to have the situation of, for example, Elemental Rockridge Leggings if we don't have to. I appreciate that's a lot of UI editing though.

To be fair, its ok for girls, cuz they look hot in it.Syrathegreat wrote: ↑Wed May 03, 2023 8:36 amThis is a pipe dream but it would be great to have an undergarment slot on the legs too so we don't necessarily have to have the situation of, for example, Elemental Rockridge Leggings if we don't have to. Also would be nice to have options to cover up, if ppl feel like it.
There are some armors, that not only cover the chest, but it includes pants too. Maybe some shirt variations could be made for those, that want to cover up, at the chest, and their legs too?
I never play girl characters, but if i did, i would personally go for the revealing armors hehe

Re: Mail shirts
Gross.
Yeah 100% there's a time and a place for bikini plate but we don't necessarily want it all the time. And it would be nice for the guys to show a little leg and tummy too if they wanted.

Re: Mail shirts
very cool idea, think shirts in general is an area that could be improved a lot. simply changing a lot of chest models into shirts could create a lot more visual diversity.
Re: Mail shirts
Years back they messed up a custom mail chest piece and it was accidentally a shirt with the mail graphic for a brief time. Looked amazing underneath certain chest pieces like Shining Silver Breastplate. This is something that absolutely can be done and should be done.
