Auto-shot and attack range 15 m

Dear developers of this project, please rework the auto attack of hunters, by default, when pressed, a melee attack is used, this could be changed to a ranged attack, or if it is possible to make a system like in Lich King, also about the hunter's dead zone of 15 meters is very large distance, in some dungeons it’s impossible to shoot in narrow passages, it’s also a dead zone against melee classes, mages, please think about what you could come up with, they fixed it in BC because they understood that this was a huge problem for this class. It would be possible to put into some kind of talent, when studying which, the firing distance would decrease.

Whilst I'm 100% for this change the game itself might be the issue here.

We're planning to shrink the min range on ranged attacks to reduce or eliminate the "dead zone". The only point to the dead zone was to ensure the min range on ranged weapons was enough such that ranged weapon attacks wouldn't be used while also being melee'd (at least by mobs... players have a bit of slush built in).
So maybe it could be changed on spells but who knows if changing autoshot minimal distance won't affect mobs. Maybe it's harder topic then expected. Blizz themselves implemented it later in 2.3.

It would be interesting to hear the opinion of the developers of this project on this topic, but it seems to me that this would not upset any balance

Уважаемые разработчики данного проекта, переделайте пожалуйста автоатаку охотников, по умолчанию при нажатии используется атака ближнего боя, это можно было бы поменять на дальнюю атаку, или если можно сделать систему как в Lich King,
Уважаемые разработчики сделайте чтобы автоатака у охотника была с лука,а не с ближнего боя!!!

Another possible solution for a long-range attack, to give the opportunity to at least use traps during the battle

Hope to see some changes in this regard anyway in the future, because the mechanic right now is kinda clunky. But it is what it is... hiding_smth_turtle_head

I would very much love this as a change, hopefully it is something the Turtle team will look into! Loving the server, loving my Goblin Hunter play through (only grievance is the Goblin's model issues with 2 handed/Back/Ranged weapon not showing when unsheathed and some other minor points).

Best server to be online in quite a while!
