Theramore Marine in Barrens - ranged disarm

Theramore Marine NPC in barrens can cast a ranged disarm.
When it attacks my hunter pet and I am standing far, some 25-30 yards, he can still disarm me from that distance. Without having me in target or without even turning to face me.

Also the Theramore Preservers have a very high rank of Renew spell, healing them for around 92HP / tick, according to MobInfo HP addon.

If I am understanding the issue, this could possibly be due to lag?
