Jaina Proudmoore inspired Mage looking for some advice

i wanna make a High elf mage and have it follow it in the footsteps of Jaina proudmoore but I'm trying to find out what
spec she was in warcraft 3. if I remember she was arcane but I might be wrong

if she was arcane does anyone have any tips for a beginner as far as leveling up? because I've heard that arcane mages
can die really easily in wow
