This VanillaGuide is pretty good for hunter leveling. although not fully optimised for twow.
https://github.com/Zarant/VanillaGuide

GuideCreator enable automatic step completion to VanillaGuide
https://github.com/Zarant/GuideCreator/tree/classic

TomTom generates waypoints for each step for Vanillaguide.
https://github.com/cralor/TomTomVanilla

It's also nice to have shagutweaks and Lazypig for some extra qol options.

Another interesting VanillaGuide github getting updates here link.

I'm having trouble with both oCB and BearCastBar. Both of them seem to be super high, even at the lowest height setting, they're still well above my character. I'd like my castbar to be below me. Is there any addon that can go lower than these two (about the spot of the original castbar)?

Thanks! When I clicked lock on the version I had nothing happened. This one works.

Hello. I am new to this private server, but I have played the original Vanilla and TBC retails, and one of my favorite addons from that time that hasn't been mentioned here is Bookworm. If you're interested in the lore of the game (and isn't that sort of the point of this server?), this addon is for you. The default is to only record the name and location (aka zone) of any book you find and click on (to save space it would default to storing the least amount possible... which these days shouldn't be nearly as big a concern as it was 18 years ago), which means you would have to go back to that location to read it again. However, if you're okay with the database constantly growing bigger all the time, you can turn on auto page turning with "/bw auto" and storing of the books (auto page turning has to be on because it'll only capture the pages that show up on the screen) with "/bw store all" (there's several other options as well, access the full list with "/bw help"). Then later you can use "/bw browse" to see all the books you've come across, and if you've turned on store you can read the books at your leisure.

I first stumbled on this addon during vanilla because I came across a book that was marked as part 5. I had never even found parts 1-4. I wanted to read all the parts in order, so I tried to look up the books and at least at the time, I couldn't find any sort of database of all the books in the game. Using this addon, I was able to locate the other books (also out of order, I want to say it was something 2, 4, 1, 3 or something like that) and then I could read them all.

Could you please update links to following addons? These forks were updated to properly work with Turtle WoW's custom zones.

click the green code button. then click download zip.
github adds -master to the folder name. you need to remove that.

I'm looking for a rogue timer addon and pick-pocket auto loot one. Actually the rogue timer addon can be mage/hunter timer.

I've created two addons that appear to be functional in the Turtle WoW client.

The first is Inspector, an addon that adds some functionality to the standard character inspect feature.

The second is pfUI-turtle, a pfUI extension that reskins some of Turtle WoW's custom UI elements to fit better with the rest of the ui.

Both Simple Action Sets and Action Bar Profiles cause the game to crash every time a profile is loaded. Is there any alternative for them that works?

Thank you for your work! I don't have time now, but I could give it a try later

Addon Gatherer is failing. Whenever I install it, it never works and sometimes I get a strange warning in the middle of the screen.

The opening post links directly to Atlas Loot only, not the base Atlas (i.e. maps for dungeons with numbers for bosses etc.). As I saw from the search, this here seems to be the latest version for the base Atlas for Turtle right ? -> https://github.com/CosminPOP/Atlas

Clique Error

Post by Yomomma » Fri Mar 31, 2023 4:47 am

Hey guys, I downloaded Clique from the addons list, but I keep getting an error when I hop onto the game "Interface\AddOns\Clique\Plugins\Clique_pfUl.lua:21: attempt to index field 'uf' (a nil value). Not sure what this even means or how to fix it, so was wondering if anyone had a solution or some other way to just get it working in case it's an outdated version

CensusPlusTurtle - CensusPlus, updated for TurtleWoW to display the Goblin and High Elf races. And also both Horde and Alliance since we're crossfaction.

Turtle Menagerie - Summon a random pet or mount with /randpet and /randmount

HardcoreDeath - If you're doing the Hardcore challenge, this addon will announce to guild chat what killed you, your /played time, and takes a screenshot of your head.

MouseOverSounds - Plays a warning sound any time you mouseover a rare spawn, elite mob or otherwise dangerous mob.
I cannot thank you enough for that Menagerie addon, I've been wracking my brain trying to figure out how to cast a random spell by name with vanilla macros.

Does anyone know of a player/frame replacement which retains the vanilla(blizz) look? I like the approach of SUI https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/sui
In principle the shagu tweaks gets close to it, but I'd like to customise the size of the window and the font too etc.
Something like this, SUI, for 1.12?

yes. its working, but have some bugs, for me the PAUSE is actually a STOP and the turtle wow exclusive content like stonetalon goblin npcs (newbie starting zone) do not speak.
you need to download and extract to your addons folder manually instead of using a program

you need both "1.12 Addon" and "Vanilla Sounds" for turtle wow:
https://github.com/mrthinger/wow-voiceo ... v1.3.1.zip
https://github.com/mrthinger/wow-voiceo ... v1.0.0.zip

IMPORTANT: check the official github to grab the newest version (currently 1.3.1). The author is working on updates!

Better Character Stats just doesn't work for casters. The melee, ranged, defensive, and base stats tabs all work, but the spell one is missing spell power entirely and shows me as haveing 0% spell hit, 0% spell crit, and 0 mana regen, which is not true obviously. What is wrong with it? people in /world say it works fine for their casters.

On top of that, CasterStats doesn't work either, atleast as shown in the screenshot on this forum post. The addon only shows spell damage but not spell crit/hit. It also doesn't say it has a bunch of unrelated prerequired addons, and when I got those as well, the pos still didn't work as shown in the screenshot.

This is the recommended add-on updater. I can't compare it to the one you're using since I have never used it. This thread is depreciated.

That functionality is already built into the game, is it not? I'll have to check it out when I log on.
