United Guilds

Post by Distortedshadow » Mon May 13, 2019 1:46 am

1. Allow people to invite opposite faction members to their guilds if they want to. If people are already grouping, raiding and talking to each other, this just seems like a mechanical and superficial hurdle. Sure, you'll have some horde-only or alliance-only themed guilds. Those guilds don't have to invite the other faction if they don't want to.

2. Combine the two baby turtle guilds together. More people in the new player chat means new players get their questions answered more quickly and have more people to talk to when deciding whether to stay and play on this server. Right now Horde hatchlings has 1 person online. It's not really a roleplay guild anyways, it just exists to bunch together all the new players. Note this would only work if everyone was a "diplomat" by default, otherwise the characters wouldn't be able to communicate.

Regarding 1, that option can be studied and added, yes.

Regarding 2, I have already answered here: viewtopic.php?f=14&t=542&p=2817#p2817. Some people want to play with members of the opposite faction and some of them don't, and we must respect every opinion. Diplomacy must be an optional thing because of that.

I would like this, so that I could make a Tauren-Nightelf guild for druids.
No mages or warlocks allowed, though.

Please add this! We can group/raid/trade cross faction, it would be a great idea to let us be guilded so we can make friends and progress through things together more efficiently.

Faction traitors! If I saw an orc joining an Alliance guild I'd wear their skin as a cloak (:

You know that you can't speak other languages in guild chat anyway, right, DistortedShadow?

Diplomats are able, finally, to invite people from the opposing faction to their guilds.
Many players have requested this feature and we have listened.
