Switching from Swordsmith to Axesmith

Hi Guys,

is there an easy way to switch from a weaponcrafting profession to another? Like Sword to Axe?

I accidently got Swordsmith cause i didnt really look what i was clicking and now im Swordsmith and i didnt want to...


Any tips would be appreciated.

I have been trying to figure this out as well. Except I want to go from Hammersmith too Swordsmith.

I visited the book in tanaris but could not interact with it.not sure if you have to drop weaponsmith to pick a new subspecialty or talk to the weapon Smith trainer. Or even the trainers in Everlook. I can't find any info for vanilla wow on this topic.

Sadly, you need to do it on a new character

I believe you have to start over. Remove blacksmithing under skills and click the red cross, this will unlearn blacksmithing. You then have to level it up again.
Dont take my word for it! I haven't fact checked this on turtle wow. This is how it works on a 3.3.5 client.
