World PvP Idea/Suggestion.

One thing that I miss from Wotlk are the city raids, and I was thinking if it would be nice if Turtle WoW added a quest that if you killed all enemy faction leaders you would gain a mount, or a tabard, or even a custom item.

What do you guys think?

I'd like to see that AND a fix to the PvP guards. I am still low level and haven't seen it, but apparently they don't attack on sight/range as they should.

I'd like to see guards return to their normal HP values.

Also smarter instead of stupidly overpowered guards for neutral hubs. Guards do not need to be immortal, sonic-fast, spam charge/roots/slow and deal insane damage, instead they should be smarter and not attack people trying to defend themselves, as it always happens with the default AI.

I personally don't think loot drop incentives to kill faction leaders are a particularly good idea, because it might encourage camping them - something like a one-time quest seems like the better choice to me in this scenario

But, like, I won't turn down fat loot for just doing the stuff my guild likes to do :temp:

I don't think it's a good idea either. City raids happening more often because there's something valueable for everyone to get would get old very quick. The reason I and I suspect many others like vanilla style WoW is because a lot of things are more intrinsically rewarded rather than everything having some kind of dopamine hit or collectible to gather. I don't think we should move closer to retail in that aspect by putting notable rewards on everything and turn it into a completionist sort of game. If people want to raid cities they should want to raid cities for the act of raiding cities.

The recent, ridiculous buff to city guards is obviously sending a clear message that the staff does not want PvP happening there.
