by the way, do you know what generates this issue? why does every other model "remove" their undergarments when you use one of these modified armors, even tho removing that armor doesnt lead to a naked character, but with these skins it's forced to have the undergarments on the character

Original game has separate multiple texture files for naked character (which are used when corresponding item slots are empty), and a single texture file for the whole body, which is being overlayed with equipped items' textures.
Textures for naked torso and pelvis have undergarments.
Texture for "body skin" does not have neither undergarments nor private parts on it. So if you for example would wear a chest item with missing texture, your character would be topless, but missing nipples. Unless it is a male, which have diferent "body skin" texture.

This mod changes item textures, but the "body skin" texture remains unchanged, so I would assume, the Dark Ranger skin has undergarments baked in on it.

The original mod is for 3.3.5 you dont need to convert mine i backported the 3.3.5 version to 1.12
i dont have it anymore but you can find it online if you look hard enough

The only problem with this mod is that male characters are also wearing thongs now, pants of bloodfang armor is a good example.

Quite belated, but I dug into this a little. It appears that the dark ranger skin is using only a single skin texture rather than including separate textures for top and bottom underwear when you don't have anything equipped, which is typical for most skins. In the HD Patch, underwear has been "baked in" to the skin texture, so it shows up underneath other gear. For non-HD users, I'm not sure how the dark ranger skin is handled.

If you're using the HD patch (or the character-only HD patch), I've made a new patch that overwrites the HD dark ranger skin. This removes the underwear from the skin, so it won't show up while wearing other gear. Unfortunately it also means that if you unequip your gear you'll have no underwear.

Patch-Q (Requires HD Patch)

Presumably the handling of the model could entirely fix this by loading separate top and bottom textures, but it's a little beyond my current skill to edit.

Is this also true for the goblin model in WoW retail? I did not notice the undergarments issue with the other custom race, high elves, while using this mod, so I am curious as to why it affects goblins. Hoping it is possible to fix so that goblins have both an undergarments skin and a "body skin" so that this mod can look good on all races in Turtle WoW.

i got both patches but seems not working the bikini mod. the armors are not skimpy. (toons get full naked btw)
