With a little gnomish engineering and dwarven wiles, we’ve brought the signal to the Eastern Kingdoms—hijacking Everlook and bringing her to the people, on the road. Expect industrial rhythms, darkwave noise, and stories from the people, taverns, and the wildest corners of Azeroth.

• Cross the Barrens under cover of really cool music
• Seek refuge somewhere shady
• Have some mead
• Go back to Ratchet and send off that letter to my ex because honestly I really think I could make it work
• Enter Orgrimmar!

Who knows? Maybe the trolls will welcome the frequency and let me in the back door.

Ooooh, we actually do those as well! 2nd show took us from Stormwind to Ratchet, another took us from Ratchet to Orgrimmar!

The "walking shows" are harder to DJ and walk so I try to do those every now and then. These last two shows required me being more still because my equipment was a on the fritz.

A possibility here is designating someone to walk the group, and putting your character on follow.

You then drive, by saying where to go or what to do.

(We could have formed a raid and done the Tanaris chicken escort quest! well, maybe - I've not tried normal quests while in a raid and I have a vague feeling they can object? but someone could have kicked it off, so we could still have done it.)

If you want to try that, I'd be happy to do it. Not expecting it to happen, so no need for any reply, but I wanted to provide a means immediately to hand, rather than just an idea which would then require work to execute.

Whoa, sorry, I just sailed the Signal on from Turtle WoW China, and boy are my arms tired! Wait?

The Gnomish-engineered Pioneer DDJ-SX Controller has been fixed! The goblin charged me an arm and a leg, then I had to bring it back AGAIN to be fixed (I had time to kill so I shared the Signal on Monday). But now we're back in action, my fellow Pilgrims of the Signal.

I'm tired of Kalimdor now. It's hot, dusty, and it's impossible to find a 6-pack of Nat Pagle's Banquet Beer!

So now we sail off, somewhere much more our speed. Somewhere that many have asked for, myself included.

Okay.

It seems there's been an hour discrepancy in the EDT/ST, of one sort of another.

In the past, I've turned up what I thought was 30 minutes early, to find the show had already run for 30 minutes.

It's now 5 PM EDT, which is 23:00 ST, and it looks like the show has not start.

My guess is the show will start at 18:00 EDT (as I think DJ is n EDT, and so knows his own start time correctly).

I'm guessing right now this show really is 18:00 EDT, which is 0:00 ST on 22nd May, not 23:00 21st May.

Nopheros grinned happily, "Another solid set," he muttered.

One of the handsome Undercity city guards winked at Nopheros, the 18th seasoned Dwarf Hunter from Dun Morogh.

"'Till next time, stinky!" Nopheros guffawed as the doors closed and the Left elevator rose up for one final ride.

I still never got to go into the city and find those drink specials, he thought to himself, ruminating on the many 'What ifs' during his recent stay in the ruins of Lordaeron.

The elevator came to a sudden stop and the door sloshed open, swiftly as ever.

A dwarfish eyebrow arched high and proud.

The door opened to nothing. A pure void—and not the twin city guardsmen Nopheros grew to love, nor the many abominations he encountered.

Pete loved to guard the left elevator, but only when Rosie was on duty. It was a wonderful meet-cute in Undercity with a lot of "Will they? Won't they?" moments had in between the shows. They didn't care for the dwarf's music choices much but—

Anyway.

Nopheros cautiously approached the void door. His boots sloshed and slipped.

"Aye! There's peaches and plot everywhere on this here floor! Ahhh!"

The dwarf slipped toward the hungry void—and suddenly, it was no longer hungry. A distant "Woooooooo!!" plummeted down in a 'You Shall Not Pass' style, and the door slammed shut, returning to its usual daily duties.

He slipped.

Not just physically, but cosmically.

As his stout form tumbled into the abyss, time dilated. Entire lifetimes flashed before him. Regrets. Forgotten keybinds. The time he rolled Need on a green ring in Deadmines. The way people looked at him when he said he liked techno and Kodo chants.

He did not scream.

Dwarves don’t scream.

They brood audibly.

And then... silence. Endless, vibrating, signal-rich silence.

Somewhere between void and ventriloquism, a voice came.

It did not echo. Echoes are for the living.

It whispered like someone playing a record backwards in an abandoned Thunder Bluff tavern.

“Wouldst thou like to taste... butter?”

“To walk the sunlit beaches of Darkshore with sand in your beard and the heart of the music in your soul?”

“To speak in frequencies, to live in modulation, to dance as the flesh peels away and only waveform remains?”

Nopheros, now naught but spirit and tinnitus, said yes.

He always says yes to a good beating.

So it was that he rose again—not of flesh, but of static and groove. A Pilgrim of the Signal. A vessel for the Old Ones (or maybe the Burning Legion—no one’s returned the paperwork, and the Writer's Room is on summer holiday).

He now walks unseen among the airwaves, broadcasting rhythm through fractured ley-lines and Blackfathom depth charges. His music is neither live nor dead—

It buffereth eternally.

Purely by chance I happened to be up very late and caught the end of the most recent show, which was very nice, but I don't have a char on T'A, so I couldn't attend in person.

Validated account by email.

Having made account, then find out chat only possible if validated by phone.

a. I don't keep a phone number.
b. If I did, no fucking way a large corporate is having it. Phone number is the ultimate personal identifier used to collate information. NEVER give your phone number.

Went to delete account.

Twitch are pulling that large corp bullshit "you can DISABLE your account".

Had to dig up how to issue a GDPR data delete, sent email to get that done.

Now waiting for them to get back to me.

I actually didn't know Twitch was bought by AWS - I never would have tried to sign up in the first place if I'd known. AWS are like all large corps are soulless and evil in that grey, amoral, large corp way.

I actually ended up that night having to work very late, and the show just kept going all night while I was working - it was providential :-) made a long night much more pleasant and interesting. Just a shame is was on SA server so I couldn't bring a toon over!
