Stance changing classes feels bad
Stance changing classes feels bad
I tried druid till level 12 and having to press everything twice every time feels terrible, is every other stance / form classes like that and is there any way to fix this ?
EDIT : I'm not talking about switching / canceling stances, but abilities that get's you out of them
Example : you are in bear form, you press Rejuv first time, it just gets you out of bear form, then you have to press Rejuv a second time to launch the ability.

this is wrong. It is still exactly the same. It's annoying as hell. 1.12 client is trash.Voodoochile wrote: Sat May 10, 2025 8:48 am How long ago did you play druid? Because i thought they fixed that like 3 patches ago
Re: Stance changing classes feels bad
in 1.12 its one action per button press.
not like classic when if you press Rejuv in bear form, it will drop bear and cast it (if youre not on gcd).
They added Shapeshifting direct here so Cat>Bear is possible without humanoid inbetween.
But thats it.

Hate the player, don't hate the game. It's the version of the game we all chose to play.Laysson wrote: Sat May 10, 2025 3:30 pmYeahh too bad it's like that, the game client is really trash.Grizb37 wrote: Sat May 10, 2025 1:05 pm in 1.12 its one action per button press.

You can absolutely hate the aspect of the game if it doesn't make sense or is clunky. This has nothing to do with the player. This thing is bad design and should be addressed, instead of pretending it's "good" because it was originally designed that way.Drubarrymooer wrote: Sat May 10, 2025 3:40 pm Hate the player, don't hate the game. You're conflating bad design and limitations of the engine.Whoopie wrote: Sat May 10, 2025 7:48 pmYou can absolutely hate the aspect of the game if it doesn't make sense or is clunky. The limitations still ended up with a bad result, though. Surely that could've been fixed by now, no?Drubarrymooer wrote: Sat May 10, 2025 8:55 pmYou're conflating bad design and limitations of the engine.Whoopie wrote: Sat May 10, 2025 7:48 pmYou can absolutely hate the aspect of the game if it doesn't make sense or is clunky. Elmhoof - 60 Boomkin
Tacheka - 41 Melee hunter (Planned secondary main)
Anbone - 36 Shadow Priest (Idk what I'm doing with him)
The laser chicken called to me. And so I answered.

Re: Stance changing classes feels bad
I mean it depends on how we go about "fixing" it, right? Afaik, the devs are going to implement cat>cat in 2.0 and I've heard/been told the reason it can't be done sooner is limited to the 1.12 client. The bleed build was also done in part to make cat more appealing to folks who don't enjoy the broken jank that is powershifting. So that's kind of a band-aid fix.Bigsmerf wrote: Sat May 10, 2025 9:07 pmThe limitations still ended up with a bad result, though. Re: Stance changing classes feels bad
If you get the supermacro addon you should be able to make /cancelaura Bear Form /cast Rejuvenation macros that should work in one press.
Re: Stance changing classes feels bad
Nope, it doesn't work.FrankFankledank wrote: Sun May 11, 2025 12:32 am If you get the supermacro addon you should be able to make /cancelaura Bear Form /cast Rejuvenation macros that should work in one press.
Re: Stance changing classes feels bad
That would still be 2 press.FrankFankledank wrote: Sun May 11, 2025 12:32 am If you get the supermacro addon you should be able to make /cancelaura Bear Form /cast Rejuvenation macros that should work in one press.
Re: Stance changing classes feels bad
And you are saying that cat->bear and cat->rejuvenate requires different tech to work?Grizb37 wrote: Sat May 10, 2025 1:05 pm in 1.12 its one action per button press.
