Protection Warrior is a PVP Spec
and it always was (Vanilla and CC1)

Sounds crazy but its true.
Mostly all the talents only affect PVP (useless against Raid Bosses at least)

They seemingly doubled down on this theme in CC2

I do not play Warrior but could someone please review this spec (CC2 Protection Warrior)
I want to know what its like to play in PVP.

Is it viable?
I assume it is a terrible meme and generally sucks horribly.

I FINALLY fought a prot warrior in PVP
he had well over 7000 hp (naxx gear)

i (shaman) had roughly 4500 hp in blues and crappy welfare epics

generally I lost the fights we had 1v1
(he survived with 1000 hp)

at one point i was humiliated (misplayed) becuz he BITCH SLAPPED OFF MY NATURES SWIFTNESS WITH SHIELD SLAM

P.S. Did you know that Revenge Stun effect can be absorbed by Grounding Totem?? LOLwut

1. The stuns (like concussion blow)
2. the 'dispel' effect of Shield Slam (dispel is a rare/powerful/desirable effect)

the lack of mobility (and damage) are what make it extremely unpopular in pvp (and in general) however

Every classs purge is good against has tons of trash buffs that makes your lonely 1 effect purge not that great. Well you can dispell druids mark with 50% chance but what the profit ? And at what cost talents wise ?

A stun and a purge aren't enough to make up for the lack of damage and mortal strike healing reduction, they moreso just make it so you aren't entirely fucked with 0 options in world pvp.

I can totally get on board with warrior having spell reflect as long as charge remains unusable inside combat,

however i think it's time then that warlock gets demonic circle or some kind of shadowfury (probably not aoe)

with the rest of the shit other classes have i think it's inevitable
