Affliction Raid Gear Is Off?

Hello friends,

This is half me double-checking with other warlocks, and half me getting my thoughts out there to the wonderful devs.

I have recently gotten all of my affliction Tier 3, and spent the time and energy to completely enchant everything. Affliction is really cool, and my preferred play style, but I hate to say that the DPS output in AQ40 and Naxx is severely lacking compared to DS/Ruin and Fire. Is this what everyone else is experiencing?

I have a couple of thoughts:

Everything that the Affliction tree is giving us is really fun, but it can't compare to the raw power of Ruin.

The stats/set bonuses on the tier 3 are weird. Granted, almost all warlock set bonuses aren't really impactful. But we really don't need the extra hit with the way that Suppression works. And the haste doesn't compare to crit. Not only that, non-tier raw spellpower gear only boosts spellpower by a small amount. So we give up a ton of crit gear for not much else. It seems to me like Affliction gear should actually prioritize raw spellpower to make up for the absolutely zero reliance on hit OR crit? Keeping the SP even on the two sets doesn't make sense to me, even if they boost the value of haste.

Lastly, why do we have more int and less stam? We don't actually NEED a larger mana pool, because we just tap regardless. And the other benefit of more int is crit, which we can't use at all with Affliction. If we are okay with changing base stats, do we need to keep the spellpower the same?
