Frost trap improvement

Post by Jannus » Mon Dec 30, 2024 1:27 pm

Would it be possible to change the visual effects of frost trap to get rid of that flashbanging effect? It's absolutely ass, especially in darker areas and causes unnecessary eye strain.
Alternatively, please provide instructions how we can locally replace this effect with something that doesn't have the capacity to cause long term health issues to your eyes.

Thanks!

But why would he want to lower settings of ALL spell effects? I don't know the effect the author is describing but if it looks like he describes, then why not having a possibility to disable that one particular effect (or change it to something else).

I have no issue with other AoE spells, Blizzard is fine, Flamestrike is fine, but frost trap makes an entire area bright white. I don't want to turn off other spells because of one spell that causes unnecessary eye strain.

Yeah, the white is excessive and turning down spell effects is not an option when some spell effects can't be seen when that's turned down.

I love spamming this as a survival hunter in small corridors in pvp, can't kill me if you can't see me.
