Remove the 5second rule on Shield Specialization!
Please, for the love of god. Remove the "can only occur once every 5 seconds" on Shield Specialization.
I heard that you wanted to get rid of the "need" for random items like the fire-gloves or the ring from Gilneas. But why do something like this? It requires more stuff like that for "fast pace" dungeons or raid-tanking. Why this nerf? I just do not get it.
I guess the lasher farm is not as effective anymore. But if that was an issue that you wanted to solve, kill the lasherfarm instead of destroying a class..

I guess your groups just don't kill the targets fast enough then...
The thing I do not understand is what "issue" the change solved... was it OP in PVP or something?

Your resource is not supposed to be unlimited (Mana), the management of it is a core gameplay aspect of Vanilla.

I did not play too much with my Paladin post-class changes but his mana sustain is actually a lot better and I am not having trouble keeping aggro either at the range where I was tanking with him. If they actually kept the Talent as it originally was then you'd be at 100% mana all the time against multiple mobs.Developer Comment: Mana sustain of Protection Paladin against multiple creatures was already crazy good, and with the new changes it became even better. We decided to reduce power of this talent against multiple creatures to keep mana sustain on similar levels as in 1.17.1.

I only did one Dungeon since the changes. I was on 100% Mana all the time.
I think new SoW (100% chance on hit) still working with (new) Reckoning (no ICD "except" weapon speed) and thrash blade/flurry axe still counting as a hit. But I might be wrong.
Threat is so good atm imo that I don´t need to panic press that much and waste mana.

This nerf feels like an overcorrection to a specific farming issue, but it has far-reaching consequences for tank gameplay.

Because it is. People went for pally to lasher farm instead of mages.
They nerfed lasher farm overall but then went extra mile and nerfed improved blizzard for mage and mana return on block for pally. Cause anchor in the back for them both i guess.

You would never ever use blizzard to lasher farm on mage, so i sont see how that nerfs mage lasher farm.
