Make the WarMode bonus to 30% again or more. World PVP ist the only interesting thing here

i'm level 30 and been playing turtlewow for little under a couple weeks and my experience of warmode at least in the starting alliance zones up until has just been getting 1 tapped by passing-by level 60s or getting ganked by twinks with fully enchanted gear.

i don't think i've accidentally bumped into a levelling horde who also has warmode turned on yet, and i've played almost 80 hours so far.

on paper warmode was probably created to incentivise people doing world pvp because the risk of being killed was worth the exp boost. but in practice the only people that have it activated are people actively looking to PVP others but not while levelling, just instead they want to use it to gank lowbies who took warmode to get extra exp.

i still use it because im used to playing on PVP worlds and getting ganked so why not get the free extra %20 experience? i've been ganked maybe 10-15 times between level 1 to level 30, so i don't think it's that bad of a risk to take at least early on.

i'll probably change my opinion once i get to mid-level contested zones where horde are more common - and if i keep getting killed over and over and over en masse i'll probably just turn it off to save myself the headache but i don't think it's bad at all so far.

Ultimately, the problem is the existence of PvE realms.

Ganking has never been so bad as to justify negating the WPvP aspect entirely when it could have been suspended with things like a "potion of neutrality" or dampened with bounties on gankers (the more grey-level players you kill, the more real-time data is fed about your character to the opposite faction*) or whatever.

The absence of any real danger in a video game, which is meant to be the overcoming of danger and hardship, is antithetical to the nature of the hero's journey.

*ie:
For any given period of 12 hours, let's call it Dishonorable kill (killing a grey or green-leveled player):
1 DK: zone warning
3 DK: zone warning with name
5 DK: zone warning with name, lvl, class
8 DK: zone warning with name, lvl, class, weapon used (indicates general level of gearing)
12 DK: Zone tracker, global warning.
16 DK: Zone tracker, global warning, bounty bag on death.
20 DK: Global tracker, global warning, bounty bag on death, NPC cavalry squadrons deployed (occasional groups of same-level elite knights(EK-A)/sentinels(KA-A)/wolfriders(KA-H)/deathguards(EK-H), depending on area, appear and give chase, equipped with knockback ranged weapons (like Goblin bruisers in BB, to prevent evade trickery).
30 DK: Gryphon riders / bat riders harass from the air (slow movement, prevent stealth, decrease healing).

I like the Idea of Dishonorable Kill, its really good.

Probably to top it off IF we someone killed a "Dishonorable Killer" they should get some reward or honor or something.

Also when you look at Turtlewow Website and go to Player vs Player content there is a content called "Player vs Player Bounty Boards" I dont know if we got it in Nordanaar.

But I think its pretty good if we had it on nord or probably its still not yet implemented yet

Warmode tax is due and the tax collectors are many!
