Is Trueshot, the new ability, supposed to turn off your auto-shot?
It's not a big issue, since you either cast it again or just cast something else that renews your auto-shot, but it's still a pretty weird bug...

Are you using addons?
40 meter range check is known to disable auto attacks / auto shots occasionally

I don't use that addon, or any other that could interfere with attacks, really - I did delete WBD and it might have helped, though I'm not sure.
Now, Trueshot sometimes does disables auto shot, sometime it doesn't. I did notice it disables it more often when I'm out of mana...

You could make a macro with auto attack after trueshot.

I think is a bug. Or a bad mechanic

What i do is use a macro

Cast trueshoot
Cast autoshoot

And press the ESC key every time i click so trueshoot dont cancel autoshoot

I think they should fix it because is very annoying

Try disabling all your addons?
I've never had Trueshot cancel auto.
I've had it clip if im too slow, but thats on me.
