Yes, I know I need gear, but I am not in a hurry. I don't mind taking time leveling another class and setting up a way to make gold.

I believe the easiest option is to level several 35 and use Tailoring for Mooncloth, right? I don't mind doing that at all, but what about the other prof?
You've finally hit 60 where quest experience gets converted to gold. So now your quests will net you 5g instead of 1g and you want to start over with new characters, getting copper again? Questing at 60 is a money printer (which of course will eventually run out, but still). You farm mobs and their drops and get paid decently on top. What's not to like?
But if you want to go the alt-army way - Mooncloth might seem tempting just browsing prices. But you have to remember that it requires 2 Felcloth which you have to buy or farm and that the cooldown is longer than the other professions. If you eventually want crafted gear that requires Mooncloth it's good to have a steady influx. But if you just want the most money, it's probably not going to come from Mooncloth cooldowns.

I made around 700g while leveling, so right now I have decent gold.
As a healing class your first 350g should go towards a Goblin Brainwashing Device. I still don't like how much it trivializes the idea of builds and spending talent points well, but it's incredibly convenient to just switch your full healing build for a full dps/farming build for free. It makes grinding money and consumables at 60 much more viable for healers.

Have you heard of a gear progression? Simply running dungeons and upgrading your current gear might net you a steady flow of both gold and items.

If you do have time and don't feel like mindlessly farming for gold then I'd suggest you just hop on each 5-man or 10-man stuff. It's pretty nice on everything.
I agree. If you enjoy running dungeons, they always leave me with 20g more than I started with plus you get to roll on items that help you both heal and farm in the future.

How can I make gold to purchase items, consumables for dungeons and future raids?
Eivar wrote: ↑Thu May 25, 2023 6:40 pm
Doing dungeons is not really a way to make money, on the contrary, I might slowly bleed out my current gold.

Kind of have to agree with you, usually lose more gold in a run than what I make just to prevent the party from wiping.
This is surprising to me as a druid. I've always heard Priests are so much better healers. They have a considerably better spirit coefficient than us druids. Yeah, sure, I'll probably save the occasional mana potion through Innervate, but it's super rare for me to lose money on a dungeon run (but yes, there are full trainwrecks where you wipe thrice before reaching the first boss). And I never use buff consumables apart from Sagefish Delight. Are you undergeared or maybe just having super bad luck with your LFT groups? Jumping into Dire Maul right after levelling is tough, but if you get some gear from BRD, etc slowing building up it shouldn't be a huge drain on your resources. Mana potions also drop in dungeons, I typically get about as many as I use (Superiors are fine, don't blow Majors on dungeon content!).

Squishy tank not assigning targets + DD doing w/e the fuck they want drawing aggro = constant flash healing on everyone to keep the party from wiping. This coupled with consecutive chain pulls not allowing me to drink = constant mana pot dropping. Pretty disheartening to lose 20g+ a run due to shit players not listening to advice.
Isn't that on you to shut down? First pull when I don't have enough mana to get by I tell them to cut it out. I'm not popping a mana potion in that situation either and if it leads to a death I tell the group it was because I didn't have time to drink. Usually stops after that. There's a chat window, you don't have to silently suffer and resent your group. If you actually get the crazy freakshow group that just will not listen - leave. You've given them enough advance warning, then just peace out if get no enjoyment out of the run. I have never had to quit first myself, but someone has to start it. It's fair to abandon a trainwreck (after giving it an honest try of course).
